This prompt is a take on the internet theory that the seven minutes after your death, we take a walk down memory lane. We live in such a fast-paced world, it’s good for us to slow down and value the people and things around us. A key question we want students to think about is: “When I become old, and I look back over my life: What do I want these 7 minutes to be filled with?”

 

This theme is not about death, on the contrary, it celebrates life. The memories we will see during the seven minutes after death shouldn’t just be about our achievements, instead they should be filled with the people we loved, the challenges we overcame, and the lessons we learned. Life is more than medals. True value comes from the people around us.

Essay Contest: The Nostalgic Childhood

​​A retrospective theme that asks you to navigate what being a child meant to you then and now, stringing your nostalgic past creatively with your present. Why are you the way you are? This theme encourages students to reflect on the experiences that shaped who they are today.

 

By looking back at childhood memories, relationships, challenges, and moments of growth, students develop a stronger understanding of their identity and values while inspiring thanksgiving. This self-awareness helps them express themselves more authentically, understand others more deeply, and recognize how their past can influence the choices they make in the future.

 

This theme encourages students to explore how their childhood shapes who they are today. The memories students revisit may be joyful, painful, ordinary, or even forgotten, but each one can reveal something about the person they have become. By looking back, students can recognize the people, experiences, and lessons that influenced them. Growing up often means leaving parts of childhood behind, but reflecting on them can help us understand what is still worth carrying with us. ​

Concurso de Arte: Siete minutos después de la muerte

 

Este tema se inspira en la teoría de Internet que dice que, durante los siete minutos posteriores a nuestra muerte, hacemos un recorrido por el baúl de los recuerdos. Vivimos en un mundo tan acelerado que nos conviene bajar el ritmo y valorar a las personas y las cosas que nos rodean. Una pregunta clave sobre la que queremos que los estudiantes reflexionen es: «Cuando sea mayor y mire hacia atrás en mi vida: ¿de qué quiero que estén llenos esos 7 minutos?»

Este tema no trata sobre la muerte; al contrario, celebra la vida. Los recuerdos que veremos durante esos siete minutos no deberían ser solo sobre nuestros logros, sino que deberían estar llenos de las personas a las que amamos, los desafíos que superamos y las lecciones que aprendimos. La vida es mucho más que medallas. El verdadero valor proviene de las personas que nos rodean.

 

Tip: ¡Queremos ver mucha creatividad! Piensen más allá de lo convencional.

Un tema retrospectivo que te invita a explorar lo que significó ser niño para ti, tanto antes como ahora, entrelazando de forma creativa tu pasado nostálgico con tu presente. ¿Por qué eres como eres? Este tema anima a los estudiantes a reflexionar sobre las experiencias que han forjado a la persona que son hoy.

Al mirar hacia atrás a los recuerdos de la infancia, las relaciones, los retos y los momentos de crecimiento, los estudiantes desarrollan una mayor comprensión de su identidad y sus valores, al tiempo que fomentan la gratitud. Esta autoconciencia les ayuda a expresarse de manera más auténtica, a comprender a los demás más profundamente y a reconocer cómo su pasado puede influir en las decisiones que tomen en el futuro.

Este tema anima a los estudiantes a explorar cómo su infancia moldea a la persona que son hoy en día.
